In 1933 a bathysphere expedition intended to break the world record for ocean descent was lost under mysterious circumstances. The cause of the disaster was never determined and no three-toed sloth was ever put in command of a bathysphere again.
Signed and numbered silkscreen poster from phineas x. jones.

Yesterday, on Cthulhu Cthursday Eve, Ryan over at Ninja Dolls unleashed a furious flurry of stuffed, ninja goodness upon Etsy. There, nestled amongst the likes of Infected Pink Ninja and Yellow Sad Ninja lies the greatest of all ninjas. Bedecked in his azure costume, woven from the most demulcent of fabrics, Cthulhu darts silently through the narrow streets and atop the ominous roofs of R’lyeh, dispensing brutal, ninjutsu justice.
At 7 inches tall, he is large enough to strike awe and fear into all who witness his majesty and yet small enough to leap about unnoticed should some foul miscreant dare invade your living space; something they shall regret dearly as the stealthy Old One bears down upon them, their minds barely comprehending this denizen of the deep from beyond time and space before it neatly dissevers their head from their torso, their consciousness obliterated amidst a crimson geyser. Make sure to check out his site as well for upcoming ninjas *cough*moustache*cough*.

I’m currently recovering from another of my ridiculous purge-fugues in which all non-essentials are discarded with a vengeance. As such, I’m in the market for antiques and oddities, neither of which are particularly inexpensive on average. Imagine my delight at discovering a repository of not only strange, but incredibly reasonably priced light boxes adorned with all manner of strange imagery.
In addition to printed light boxes there are hand-crafted coffin cabinets available printed with Nosferatu silhouettes for those with a diableristic bent. It is highly recommended that you purchase with urgency, as these fine wares will be unavailable in a few weeks, having been spirited off to Horror cons at which you can be sure they will sell out rapidly.

Picking up pets offworld was generally frowned upon by the Company, as there were no quarantine facilities beyond the Oort.
Foreign mammalia carried strange strains of crippling flu, shed itchy fibers on cockpit upholstery, and left crumbly little fewmets in secret places, fewmets that became apparent, and airborne, as soon as a ship hit ohgee.
Loneliness was somewhat alleviated, yes, but at the cost of vacation time squandered on bad worlds, stocking up on exotic feed.
