Oh my.
The Folio Society has released a gorgeous edition of William Golding’s classic novel with paintings by Sam Weber. Unfortunately, it is only available to members and the entry fee ain’t cheap.

If you are a book lover the Folio Society is totally worth the expense. I have this novel on order now and can’t wait for it to arrive.

I wish I had the financial means to get this. Lord of The Flies is by far the best book I’ve ever read.

If you didn’t read the novel, do so. You’ll discover that approximately 100 000 writers have copied, expanded on and bettered the concept of man’s inherent evil and good that is presented. Great read but very few nuances.

Folio Society…so far I focused on stuff like Lewis Carroll and Christopher Marlowe (I shop them second hand), perhaps time to be less cheeep and buy from the publisher. Lovely image indeed.
