Chimp Like This

A young John and Eliza caught on film during the scant years before their respective idea afterbirths achieved serialization. As you can plainly see, Eliza was quite the fetching creature before the mange set in.
Thanks, Haux!

You know, that chimp looks an awful lot like a bonobo. This photo was made before we were aware that there were bonobos. There are several known cases of bonobos being mistaken for chimps in those days, most famously Yerkes (I might not have the name right), who was the subject of the book More Than Human.

That’s Dorothy Lamour, unless I’m mistaken. Hottie, IMO.

A cigar in chimp’s hand and it would be perfect.

This picture reminds me of my “Auntie John” (don’t ask) who as a child would hang about the MGM studios with her father (a bitpart actor), and took care of an ape (I have a feeling it was an orangutan). She was only about 6 or 7 at the time, and would wander about the grounds holding its hand.
(I should really ask my granma for the exact details)

They look like a couple on the verge of role playing to spice up their marriage.
