Moustache Monday: Hammer Play
Posted by Ross Rosenberg
Mrs. Habersham was not what one would consider a prude, surely her extensive collection of scandalous knee length frocks — which exposed not only her ankles, but the salacious curve of her calves — could attest to this fact; and yet she could not help but feel that Mr. Habersham’s carpentry fantasies were, perhaps, a bit outside of her comfort zone.

She also felt that his use of one of her Great Aunt Mathilde’s house coats as a smoking jacket smacked of more than a shade of irreverence. It was just that kind of behaviour that had enticed her to marry him in the first place.

No, no, it’s like this: When she telegraphed for a carpenter, she didn’t expect a workman from Asthete Cabinetry, the club founded in Cincinnati by Oscar Wilde during his visit in 1881. She has nothing to fear from this gentleman; he’s just displaying his club secret watch-fob in hopes that she will order a Disciplinary Chair or a frame for her Portrait Of Ross Rosenberg.

He took his vorpal sword in hand
Long time the manxome foe he sought
So rested he
By the Tum Tum tree
And stood a while in thought
