ooh boy… always did wonder how the corinthian would look in a live-action movie. This goes firmly into the “can’t be unseen” corner of my poor misused mind.
So sorry, it seems YouTube has died today, links straight to the Verizon placeholder for me? it was supposed to link to the video for Madonna’s Bedtime Story from 1994.
According to Madonna, the imagery in the video was inspired by female surrealist painters, such as Frieda Kahlo at the end of the video when Madonna’s eyes and mouth were swapped (hence the Corinthian connection), but.. well, with all that surrealism, one seems to unavoidably overlap with the Dreaming, go figure!
For you Swedes and other Euro types that can’t see that video, it’s Madonna’s Bedtime story. You gotta watch almost all of it to see the jibbley-inducing eye-mouths and mouth-eyes.
In sheer defiance of the World Wide Web Consortium's will, Ectomo was designed using a non-web-standard font. Luckily, it is included in the excellent font pack released by the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, which can be freely downloaded in Mac and PC formats here. Ectomo should still look fine without it, though.
This is truly ‘nightmare-inducing’ and affecting, but the geek check title you gave it makes me adore you more.

beautiful, but not the first. saw this years ago not long after lucifer cut off his wings and noticed more than one visual quote from the dreaming.

Seconding the “not available in your country” from Jamma’s link. Come on, spill! Either fresh link or let us know what it is, baby!

This is terrifying, but in a good way. I’m sure I’ll awaken in a cold sweat, screaming for the next few weeks, but it was worth it.
Props for the title.
Also, awesome song.

I’m digging the little beards underneath the mouth-eye’s.
Not only does this guy deserve all of our respect for having a beard, but he gets double props for having eye beards.
