Perfect. I have nothing else to say.

E.T., Conan, AND Vigo? Such a powerful combination of beings has not been assembled before or since.

This photo was taken at the Lucasfilm campus in San Francisco’s Presidio. The ET / Vigo are decorations around the campus. Conan is temporary.

Anyone know who shot this?

conan looks quite uncomfortable as if he is traped in a glass box and is not allowed to move from that spot

..I’d guess O’Brien’s Gestapic stance owes to trying to hinder E.T. from stretching out and calling home over [possibly] long-distance phonelines..

There’s something quite compelling about this image. I think it’s in the way i didn’t even notice Vigo for a couple seconds, and it looks like Conan hasn’t noticed it at all. It feels like the internet.

..He might be posing as the dude in the painting, too; - there’s this same Eastern-European supermodel glare over him as seen on this “Vigo” fellow, or whoever it is..

He’s also known as the Scourge of Moldavia…Conan not Vigo the Carpathian.
Comment by eltiburo — April 27, 2008 @ 4:42 pm
elitburo: Wan’t he also known as “Vigo the Butch?”
Comment by Brian Schlosser — April 27, 2008 @ 6:52 pm
And “Viggo the Mortensen.”

Wonderful. In my head it makes me feel like a born-again Jesus, or at least pretending to be a born-again Jesus for the virgins and the gold and the frankincense and *especially* the myrrh (mate, inhaling that stuff’s like a white-hot pellet of angel-blood injected straight into the spine. What a rush!)

Lord, Conan’s a big shoe wearer.

I laughed hard, even when I started wondering why this struck me as funny in the first place.
