Cthulhu Cthursday: A Different Interpretation

A departure from the traditional image of Cthulhu but one that works just as well, making the Old One appear even more alien than usual. I especially like the long, thin neck combined with the bulbous cranium.

    I actually think it’s more accurate to the description. I mean, I LOVE the more octopus style Cthulhu but I think this is more what Lovecraft was thinking.

    Ooh, reminds me of the angels from Evangelion. Except they were just there to end humanity, not devour your soul.

    I love this. This is how Cthulhu should be rendered, as strangely and alien as possible.
