All the way past “ironic” back into “lame.”

GOD I wish this were photoshopped.

Qais, that is an awesome tattoo, and that isn’t just the alcohol talking. At least, I don’t think it is the alcohol.

The name of the image file is chocolatepain.
It would be reassuring to find that this was merely an elaborate temp tat. Knowing what other people have permanently etched into their skin, it probably isn’t.

You won’t feel ashamed enough for this sample of the human stupidity since you’ve seen Tay Zonday singin’ Rick Astley
Comment by Camillo Miller — April 16, 2008 @ 8:30 am
Um…I guess I’m hopelessly not hip, but could someone explain that tattoo to me? Who is it, and where the quote comes from?
Comment by Katie — April 16, 2008 @ 9:48 am
@April,
Look up “Chocolate Rain” on Youtube. It is a video of Tay Zonday (pictured in tat) singing the aforementioned song. Where it is good or bad is entirely up to you, but it garnered him more than his 15 minutes of internet fame - it also got him to star in the Diet Chocolate Dr. Pepper ad.
Or some soda ad.

Katie - The above portrait is of one Adam Nyerere Bahner who goes by the stage name Tay Zonday. He rose to internet stardom with his song “Chocolate Rain” which can be found here.

This looks like something that will be amazingly hard to explain to his children.

I think everyone has said anything I could have possibly said….
Comment by Jaime — April 16, 2008 @ 12:33 pm
Wow. ftl. This strikes me as a person who tried too hard to be cool and ate his own foot.
Comment by Usagi — April 16, 2008 @ 1:25 pm
I want to see a tattoo of that arm (with included tattoo) tattooed onto another arm.
Comment by Chiablo — April 16, 2008 @ 2:27 pm
Boy, they’re going to regret that tattoo.
Comment by Mike — April 16, 2008 @ 3:12 pm
I can’t even begin to imagine why the person thought that tattoo would be a good idea. Maybe it was a bet?
Comment by cha0tic — April 16, 2008 @ 4:45 pm
Thanks for the info guys…now I’m sorry I asked. :oP
Comment by Katie — April 16, 2008 @ 5:23 pm
I had to move away from the monitor to gag.
Comment by eltiburo — April 16, 2008 @ 5:37 pm
Yeah, there are some good responses. But I have to say that if it’s a real tattoo, the person that has it is a total fucking moron.
Comment by David — April 16, 2008 @ 6:32 pm
The level of stupidity that some people sink to. It is, truly, an Idiocracy out there.
Comment by Bobdog — April 16, 2008 @ 8:09 pm
@scott
Let’s just hope like hell there are no children to explain it to. Stupidity like this should not replicate.
Comment by Feral Fish — April 16, 2008 @ 9:41 pm
It’s real all right. You can even watch a video of the work in progress. To glimpse the face of the person who received the tat fast forward to 1:40.
Comment by Evil Jim — April 16, 2008 @ 10:24 pm
Holy fucking shit. Wow. Just, just wow. I’ve seen stupid tattoos in my day, but that one takes the fucking cake.
How the hell do you explain that? Why would somebody get an internet meme tattooed on their body? Memes only last until 4Ch get sick of them, and they were sick of that about a billion years ago in Interbutt time.
My God. I really hope this was done to win a bet worth more than a couple million dollars.
Comment by Oni — April 18, 2008 @ 5:59 pm
This tattoo is still better than “Mr. Cool ICE”
Comment by Greather Cthugian — April 19, 2008 @ 5:10 am
i think it’s pretty cool. i wouldn’t put that on my arm (along with 99 percent of what others put on their skin), but, hey, what the fuck, you live and then you die. might as well have some fun in the meantime.
