In 2238 the first fully human-passable android was developed by the AI Underground in what historians would come to call “Genesis 2.0″. The poor confused half-breed slipped into this world from the comfort of a cozy lab-grown womb with the full weight of the world on his shoulders and a legacy of terrible, unavoidable, blood-soaked horrors he had yet to fulfill.

A horrifying vision of a future in which we allow robots to procreate. Will we not see the error of our ways before it is too late?

    @ Ross Rosenberg
Why not let us procreate? It is quite a burden, you know… In fact, it is such a burden you, humans, barely cope with it.

And robots are capable of dealing with any burden, given that they have proper self-improving AI (which we will soon have). So future robots will be better than humans at creating both more of themselves, and, if required, more humans.

It would be wise for humanity to completely outsource its own procreation to robots, as soon as robots develop proper intellectual and technological facilities, which is quite soon (in a historical sense).

    Sincerely yours,
    01
