Ectomorph: Cordyceps Jewelry

Named for the parasitic fungus which they resemble (and quite cleverly named at that), these earrings are one of those ideas that seems so completely obvious that one becomes shocked (and perhaps a little disappointed) they didn’t think of it first. Made from polymer clay, they are easily customizable and as such can be made to flatter any facial type. While this particular set is admittedly a bit flamboyant, and perhaps not suitable for daily wear as such, the ease with which something like this can be made lends itself well to the idea of a more toned down version that still oozes originality and elegance. I can’t wait to see where body jewelry artists take this concept.

Did you just have a couple of days of downtime? I got the strangest messages trying to get to ectomo.

There was a brief outage, but it should be resolved.

Erm… I wouldn’t say “flatter” is the right word here.
