Noise du Jour: “Waddlin’ Around” by King Khan and BBQ
Posted by John Brownlee
The punk rock doo wop stylings of King Khan and BBQ. Two puppets wander the long, rolling path of life where, as we all do, they gobble up dirty hamburgers mysteriously left for them on the ground, vomit on each other, then get swallowed by a gigantic worm. Poignant commentary on the human condition, indeed.

They just played here Sunday. If you like old-time rock, punk rock, garage rock, all served heartily by Canadians who’ve spent too much time in Berlin, I would recommend. They were headed to Cleveland and eastern destinations.

It’s Papapishu! Ack!
Heh, It’s cool. Yeah, KK+BBQ is playing at Don Pedros in Brooklyn today. I might go, if I’m not burdened by prior commitments. Great times.
