Giant Stuffed Cepholopods
Posted by Ross Rosenberg

Contrary to what you may think, this is not a behind-the-scenes still from one of Ectomo’s private “art films”. No, what we have here is a photo of artist Cassandra Nguyen and one of her twenty foot giant squid dolls. Yes, you read that correctly. And, yes, you can “adopt” one for $2500.00.
If, however, you cannot afford one but would like to at least see one in person, and are in the Seattle area, the McLeod Residence is hosting an exhibition of three of these amazing creatures. The show opens December 7th, from 6pm-9pm, with activities by the Cephalopod Appreciation Society, including poetry readings, live drawings, food and drink. The show runs until the 29th and if you tell them Ectomo sent you, well, they’ll probably just be confused.
