Cthulhu Cthursday: Lovecraftian Cartography
Posted by John Brownlee

A wonderful collection of maps of Lovecraftian cities. The one for Innsmouth is the best, useful if you ever find yourself on the Cape, ducking through back alleys as you dodge possibly homosexual fishmen.

As a guy who makes maps for a living, I’m pretty impressed by the level of detail and artistry involved. Nice work!

This is nothing. I just spent the day getting lost in the city of Halifax, with my wife practically breaking down in frustration and curling up into the fetal position at every intersection, as the bizzar twists and turns that wrap around the city like the tenticaled maw of Cthulhu himself brought us further and further from our destination.
Seriously. Whoever designed the street layout of this city is one sick sadistic fuck.
