The moral ambiguity of same sex intercourse between doppelganger and flesh father has been haunting me (and, by extension, my exact duplicate) for quite a while. The big point of contention seems to be whether or not making love to one another is considered “gay.” My argument is that it’s no gayer than masturbation, but my doppelganger — who lost the coin toss, and is therefore to be the bottom spine in our beast with two backs — disagrees. This card doesn’t really answer any questions, unfortunately, but I really think we should soldier on with the experiment anyway: it’s the only way I’ll figure out if every single one of my ex-girlfriends has been lying when describing me as a “spectacularly adequate lover.”

Ah, but where do you draw the line between clones and mono-zygotic twins?
I mean, if I were somehow transported back in time to meet myself, or met an alternate me from a parallel universe, I might entertain the notion. But a clone is essentially a sibling. Gay sex is one thing. Incest is quite another debate altogether.

I love the Othello reference, it was one of the few plays by Shakespeare I actually liked. Although if i had a duplicate of myself I wouldn’t waste my time trying to have sex with it. I would put it to better use, like trying to take over the world, then i would have sex with it for a job well done.

And thank you for clearing this up! As a female, it’s not a matter of gay vs. straight, so I now no longer harbor any qualms about having a hot lesbian makeout session with my double.
