I can no longer determine what is genuine and what is ironic. This is partly because many people don’t know which they are being at any one time. Mostly, however, it is due to serious-faced young men in swimming caps painting themselves like an undead pierrot; wearing a curtain; and failing to perform an 80’s dance in front of an Alice in Wonderland door.
He who fights with post-modernism might take care lest he thereby become post-modern. And if you gaze for long into youtube, youtube gazes also into you.

I thought that the Youtube is all Seeing, all knowing, An extension of the retarded beast who only knows instant gratification that lives deep within the collective psyche. or could it be that youtube is a pacifier while our ry’lehian gods devour our souls. is this voguing Vampire a ploy is ectomo merely a pawn in the grand scheme. are we doomed to slumber in the belly of cthulhu? OH MY GOD! THE MADDNESS!!!!!
What people do and don’t do never ceases to fascinate me. Everything about this video, even it’s very existence, is strictly what I would call human—that is to say artificial. I don’t know what else to say about it, but if you want even more of a mind fuck watch this video. And remember, these are people, just like you and me, with makeup, a camera and some time on their hands.
When I see things like this a myriad of thoughts flood my mind. Did he do this for a bet? Just for laughs? or is he serious?
I’ve seen some really strange people at goth clubs do things like this… and they are totally serious about it. All I know is, nothing would be funnier to see in person.
I liked the dancing quiet a bit, and I liked the makeup and music choice passing well. And I suppose the the hallway in front of the door was the place with the best light–not everyone has their own studio, of course.
But why go to that much trouble and then wear a band T-shirt? That just boggles my mind. I don’t have the slightest idea why anyone would put so much effort into their costume, and then forget to put on just a regular black shirt!?!
In sheer defiance of the World Wide Web Consortium's will, Ectomo was designed using a non-web-standard font. Luckily, it is included in the excellent font pack released by the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, which can be freely downloaded in Mac and PC formats here. Ectomo should still look fine without it, though.
If Count Orlok were still with us today, he would totally be a Chris Angel fan.

The girl laughed at the Undead-One’s fumbling at the end. Surely must be hard to click on tiny mouse buttons with such claws.
