According to what I read, this poor kid grew up and went into WWII as a young British army officer, and had to endure years of teasing & misery from his fellow-soldiers who had grown up reading his father’s books. He said he came to loathe Winnie The Pooh.

As an ex-Winnie the Pooh obsessor, and a Canadian, I hear about the Canadian roots of the ever so famous Winnie The Pooh Bear and Friends. It comes off as shocking to know that many have not heard this fact before.
