Alex CF continues his line of fantastically realized specimen cases with this piece, recovered from the estate of the late geologist William Dyer, professor at Miskatonic University in Massachusetts. The case features his usual attention to detail, featuring any number of bottles, vials, tools, and specimens, including a dissected and preserved Shoggoth and a page from the dreaded Necronomicon.

As a big fan of all things Lovecraftian, I think this is an awesome bit of work… It’s truly a shame that the person who ends up with it will probably use it for role-playing or , even worse, LARPing… Great detail on a piece that is reminiscent of some of Lovecraft’s best stories… I want it (and not for LARPing)… Kudos to the artist…
