Mr. P, an older, Dutch gentleman outfitted with a stunning pair of fake ears lights the keys of his piano on fire and belts out a tune about his desire to perform intercourse with an unnamed female, a desire which must remain unfulfilled as access to the aforementioned woman has been denied, presumably by barring her door.

The translation on the bottom translates Mr. P’s song as an ode to puppies, trips to the countryside, sunny memories and mighty swell feelings.

Teehee! Too funny. However, outside of the song being funny to English speaking folks, because of the crazy context, the real funny is that when Dutch folks heard this song (and did not speak English), they would read the translations which are quite innocently about how Mr. P likes this beautiful girl and how sweet she is!
Imagine Dutch folks singing a catchy English song by Mr. P that they did not understand, but knew the (false) translation of. Ha ha!
Van Kooten en De Bie were grand comedians, far ahead of their time.
