9 Have Spoken

Volupté

Lifting the mask was about the worst thing we could have done, under the circumstances.

He shone. I mean, he was somehow confected…caramelian…slick, sticky, and powdery, with golden sugar dusting his lashes that shook loose into motes as he fluttered awake, fluttered and fixed us with a liquid look.

And we looked back, which was perhaps our second mistake. That shell-chocolate masklet, perched on heated brow, began to wilt, and so, for a moment, did our determination. But we remembered our hunger, and drew strength from it as we chose our knives, and the boy began to struggle.

Best be careful around the cheekbones, looks like they could cut glass.

    Delicious, sweaty glass.

uh, well, this photo is nice. but look at the others in that flickr account. this photo is the best evidence for the ‘right light and angle’ and deceive girls with low blood sugar… eh? well.

I’m not sure I see what you mean. The fellow is quite beautiful in every photo. His face fits near perfectly into the Phi mask; it’s the deviations from perfection that make him interesting.

It is interesting to note, however, the always-acerbic response elicited by any photo of a good-looking person by other persons. A very human trait in all of us.

I am a staight male, but that doesn’t mean I can’t recognize a cute guy. Maybe he just isn’t my type.

My first thought was, “Damn, she’s beautiful!”, and then I scrolled down and realized there were no boobies. So then I thought “Well, I guess he’s still beautiful, but boobies would be nice.”

One day, I too will have beautiful flowing lochs like this lad. I’m half way there.

@Eliza: hmm, something went wrong with my comment, as you see the grammar is quite twisted, but i think the meaning is clear…and i’m not acerbic or jealous or whatever, i just really don’t find him beautiful…but i don’t want to discuss about that, it’s a matter of taste and personal aesthetic perception. the whole sense of my comment was to express my amazement of how light and angle can change a persons look (in the good or bad sense), not to be a killjoy. no offence?
