The World of Zamak
Posted by Qais Fulton
French artist Zamak produces work that immediately brings to mind all manner of media in which his work would be appropriate; from anime, video games, or even a vinyl toy, each exquisitely bulbous piece only serves to fuel my lust to see the work realized in a tactile form. The gorgeous forms of Zamak’s characters simply beg to be touched, to bound on their oddly jointed limbs, and to lumber and glide through the strange world I long to share with them. Hit the jump for a few more of Zamak’s pieces.

Those are bar none the most menacing balloon animals I’ve ever seen.

the last one is actually a flesh golem, patched together with what looks to be the belly skin of fat, old men.

Ya know, Qais, every time I think I have your sense of aesthetic nailed to a board, you pull something like this out of nowhere. Hold still dammit, I need to box you. :)
These are effin’ rad, btw.

I know these are not from a game, but the question remains, when can I play it?

I think Bioware should include everyone of these in a sequel to Mass Effect.

Don’t those critters in the top pic look like the I-LIFE from Grant Morrison’s The Filth?
