Your Daily WTF: Hallelujah

There are a few things to note about this clip. It appears to be some sort of performance art in which six gentleman, painted with a powdery substance lie naked and face down while Handel’s “Messiah” plays over some loud speakers. There is also a strobe type lamp projecting colored light over the men. The whole thing takes place in a sort of parking garage, and there are at least three bystanders. Oh yes, each man also has what appears to be a feather duster inserted into their anus, which, through what I must assume can be rightfully described as “precision sphincter control”, they are wagging.
The title of the clip “??????” seems to roughly, and humorously, translate from traditional Chinese to “Anus door bolt chicken feather” although Babel Fish’s translation from simplified Chinese produces the far more interesting “The anus inserts Mao?”

The figures in question are obviously life-sized sculptures or body casts of some sort and not real people. If you look carefully at their hand positions, you can see that the finger configuration is identical on each successive figure… hence, the supposed remarkable “sphincter control” exercised in the video is actually some sort of mechanical function imbedded within the plaster/resin body casts.
Sorry to puncture your otherwise rapturous anal reverie with such observations… but we must all be clean and clear when the time comes for the Old Ones to take us…

OK, so they’re mechanical. This still leaves the question: WHY? Why in Discord’s name would somebody make a bunch of life-sized body casts of naked, kneeling men and stick feather dusters in them?
On second thought, I really don’t want to know.

Yeah you’re right, on second look they are, quite obviously, sculptures. I could say “Well I used the words ‘appears to be’” but, seriously, shame on me.

Real or no it had a real effect on a hung-over new year’s day mind.

No biggie, Ross…
I just thought that it was an interesting side note to mention…
Thanks for posting such a striking item for us to enjoy through the filmy haze of New Year’s recovery…
Keep up the good work!

This post/video has won my blog’s weekly award for the weirdest thing I’ve seen in the past 7 days.
