Pictured above is Pony, an orangutan that was recently taken from a village in Borneo where she was shaved every other day, chained to a wall, and used as a sex slave. Which means that, at some point in the last year or so when you were, say, eating dinner, or reading a book, or playing “teh Haloz”, somewhere, deep in Indonesia, a man had handed someone an undisclosed amount of money and was, at that moment, humping an orangutan. I’ll give that a moment to sink in.
“If a man walked near her, she would turn herself around, present herself, and start gyrating and going through the motions. [...] The madam refused to give up the animal because everyone loved Pony and she was a big part of their income. They also thought Pony was lucky, as she would pick winning lottery numbers.”
Did the clients realize that they were in fact getting an orangutan?
“Oh yeah, they would come in especially for it. You could choose a human if you preferred, but it was a novelty for many of the men to have sex with an orangutan.”
Now that the last vestiges of your faith in humanity and hopes for our future are nearly quashed you’ll be glad to know that, fortunately, the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation found out about the abuse and went into the village to free Pony. Too bad they required the aid of 35 policemen armed with AK-47s to do it and no one will be likely to face any criminal charges.
Aaaaaand that should just about do it. Welcome to my cynical existence and, please, take a complimentary pair of shit tinted glasses.
Update: For those who still have doubts as to the credulity of Viceland’s article the footage of Pony’s rescue can be seen here, and is found at about 12:47. Thanks, bela.

Shaved every OTHER day? I wonder what the cycle of the johns was like; who liked the hairy days, who liked the baby-smooth days. Lovely.

At least it wasn’t a baby ape. Can you imagine the peedofiles traveling across the world by dirigible to this wonderland of ape rape?

Until reading this, I’d recently been going through a bizarre mental transition – I started to think crazy things like, “hey, you know.. maybe with all this science and pursuit of knowledge, maybe humans aren’t such a bad thing; as at least despite all the evil shit we do we can at least accomplish something seemingly worthwhile while we’re here..”
..it seems I’m back to swimming in my misanthropic pool of hatred again.
it was kinda refreshing while it lasted at least..

Sure, it’s horrific. The abuse of any living being should be condemned.
But then I think of all the other human sex slaves suffering right now, all genders and ages, and that just… fuck.
The kind of thoughts that can ruin an entire day.
There was this news item a few weeks ago about ethics in cloning and DNA research; the banning on creating ’sub-human’ species suited for hard labor or experimentation. Grim stuff about things like beings grown without heads, intended for organ harvesting.
Yeah, sure.
We all know just what for the first human bots will be used for.

I read about an orangutan who was used as a sex slave. That’s…that’s what I did this morning.

That Riskay song takes on a whole new meaning now!
Humanity at heart is just a species of shaved bonobos, I personally can’t get angry or depressed about this universal truth ( any more ).

i guess we don’t have to ask if there’s rule 34 of it, huh?
sadness and madness, rolled into one, specifically for your reading pleasure!

I’m intrigued by the “she picked winning lottery numbers.” What? At what point between the shavings and the rape did someone try to get the ape to pick a lottery number? Did this happen regularly? Honestly, as fucked up as all this is, I can imagine the sort of psychopath that would decide to force an orangutan into sexual slavery. But I just can’t imagine who would decide to ask tht orangutan for lottery numbers.

With all the effort I spent training her, it’d take more than a bunch of pussies with AKs to make my give up my ho-rangutan. It took me a week to get her to stop drinking the baby oil!

All right, young people, don’t let it get you down. Don’t be sad. Most people are good. If you discover wrong and injustice, don’t you do something about it? Most people do. Look around you; you’re surrounded by good, honorable, brave people. Look at the leaves on the trees; aren’t they wonderful? See the little sparrow twittering? I’m not joking. This is an order: REJOICE!

I am almost speechless at the thought of such a thing. Just when you thought you’ve heard it all, something else comes along to blow the top off your mind. Wow! That is just way over the top.
Me personally, I’ll stick with women.

How dare for one to think that they have the right to violate an innocent living creature. The people who raped her are the same type who rape young children. They only care about themselves, not about the one they are inflicting pain on. RAPE IS SOMETHING THAT IS NEVER FORGOTTEN, and can never be forgiven. Men who do this are weak.
