Inside the Kentucky Ventriloquism Museum
Posted by John Brownlee

Funny things to do a small child: take them to the Kentucky Ventriloquism Museum. Watch their souls leap out of their bodies. See if you can pinpoint the exact moment their fragile young psyche shatters. Laugh and be proud: you have just been single-handedly responsible for inducing coulrophobia into another person for life.

Egads, I hate clowns. Only thing worse is a clown puppet or dummy. When my eyes saw that photo I stared for a moment to seethe. Thanks for that!

Normally, I don’t find clowns creepy. But that… that, is just wrong. That ain’t a smile, that’s a demonic leer.

I live in Fort Mitchell, home of the Venthaven museum… I’ve known for years that it was there, but I’ve never gone… now I see what I was missing out on: psychotic dementia.
